Breakfast Club
We are delighted to let you know that we will be providing a free breakfast provision in our school.
It will be running Monday- Friday 8:00am-8:15am in the Canteen with Ms Richardson and Mr Uddin as of Monday 20th February 2023.
Your child will have the opportunity to read, complete homework that they may have, or participate in the various activities provided.
Research has shown that it is important for pupils to start the day with a nutritious breakfast. Initially, the breakfast will include a range of cereal. Evidence shows that providing a healthy school breakfast at the start of the school day can contribute to improved readiness to learn, increased concentration, and improved wellbeing and behaviour.
The National School Breakfast Programme will provide the breakfast. The National School Breakfast Programme is funded by the Department for Education and run by Family Action to support schools in England to provide children with a healthy breakfast at the start of the school day.
