We would like to thank and congratulate all of the year 7 students for an excellent start to their Hylands journey. Despite the anxieties and concerns over a new start during the COVID pandemic, the students have settled into the school brilliantly and are constantly meeting the high standards that are expected here.
During the transition days at the start of the school term the Year 7s were introduced to our Hylands habits. These habits feed into the Hylands vision and help develop the students character and help build the culture of the school. Students took part in a day of workshops to both introduce and embed these habits, which we use on a daily basis in school life.
We are excited about the start the years 7s have made and the high aspirations they have set themselves, and look forward to watching the year group flourish and succeed in the future.
