Gardening Club
We are continuing to clear the area for our school garden. Students have been making a huge difference to the area and have managed to clear lots of weeds and quite a lot of rubbish that has accumulated over the years.
There is still space for anyone that would like to join us on a Wednesday (3.15 – 4.15). There is no obligation to come every week, you can drop in as and when you are free. Gardening is a great stress reliever and can do wonders for well-being.
The gardening club is hoping to build some raised beds in the spring. If anybody knows or works for a company that may be able to help us with sourcing some suitable timber, please let Mrs. Govus know via email (eleanore.govus@hylands-tkat.org) or via the school office.
We are also looking for compost bins if anyone has a spare one that we could put to good use.
