Primary School Sports Days
On Wednesday 21st and Wednesday 28th of June, our year 7 Hylands Helpers went to help out at Kings Road and Writtle Juniors sports day. They marshalled the events and acted as runners. For some of them they were returning to the junior school they attended, and they were very excited to show their year 7 friends around and meet and greet their old teachers. Ms. Riches, Head of School at Kings Road, emailed myself and Ms. Callaghan to say
“Your children were so helpful and kind to our children – showing compassion and initiative all day, in hot conditions”
It was a really lovely couple of days and everyone who helped out was an excellent ambassador for Hylands School, as well as fantastic role model for the younger children.
