With the poor weather this week, the PE department utilised an afternoon to hold Year 7’s first inter-form competition of the year. With three form groups down in PE, the sports captains had to make three teams from their classmates, deciding whether to split them fairly or have one strong basketball team, as all results counted.
We had the non-participants scoring, and the teams in charge of subbing extra players after each game An excellent show of sportsmanship, hard work, and team cohesion.
One 7Y and one 7H team came joint third, and another 7H and a 7L team were winners, having drawn with each other but beaten all other teams.
With all scores counting from the afternoon, the winners today were 7H.
Well done to all, and excellent scorekeeping on the sidelines.
