We are please to announce that we have had 5 students that have been chosen for their Young Writers piece to be published and the school will be sent a copy of the book. Parents have also been given the option to buy their own copies and it’s all through the Young Writers website. www.youngwriters.co.uk/online/
This year’s challenge was to write a thought-provoking poem inspired by the theme of “imagine”. Students could use poetry prompts that were provided, such as “Imagine if we were all equal” or “Imagine if you could see the future” or they could create their own “imagine” theme to write about.
Everyone at Hylands would like to pass on our congratulations to all the students that took part.
