General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has come into force. This replaces the Data Protection Act of 1998. We at Hylands School have taken the steps to ensure that we are fully compliant with the new GDPR legislation.
Privacy Notice – A privacy notice is to help you understand how and why we collect your personal data and what we do with that data, which includes how we store your data. This further informs you about the decisions that you can make about your own data. Click this link for the appropriate privacy notice for Staff, Parents/Carers and Students. https://www.tkat.org/271/gdpr
Data Consent forms – These forms allow Staff, Students and Parents/Carers to give their consent for specific purposes. Where students are under the age of 13, there is a specific parent consent form. Included with each consent form is a Withdrawal of consent form that needs to be used if you decide to withdraw your consent. Please email hylandsoffice@hylands-tkat.org if you require a copy of these forms.
Data Subject Access Request form – You have the right to request confirmation of any of your personal data being processed and access to this personal data. Please email hylandsoffice@hylands-tkat.org for the appropriate form.
