Executive Head Teacher 

Maggie Callaghan 
Role: to support the Leadership with the strategic direction of the school and to help them raise standards across the school.

 

Head Teacher

Andrew Parry
Role:
to lead the school ensuring that staff and students are held to the highest of expectations; work with the School Business Manager, Joe Lyons, to ensure the financial security of the school.

 

Deputy Head Teacher

Chris White
Role:
to support our staff and students by ensuring that behaviour and attendance is the best it can be; working closely with Miss McMillan and the wellbeing team to reduce incidents of disruptive behaviour, increase the ways in which we celebrate success and improve attendance so every child has access to the education and personal development they are entitled to receive.

Saad Anjum
Role:
to support our staff to raise standards so that our students make excellent progress and our curriculum and assessment processes support that academic progress.

 

Assistant Head Teacher : Transition Strategy

Kim Adams-Howell
Role:
to support our Year 6 into 7 students, ensuring they make a successful transition into Year 7 and also to work collaboratively with our primaries.

 

Assistant Head Teacher : SENDCo

Sarah Fortenbacher
Role:
to ensure that our students with Special Educational Needs are supported to make academic and personal progress and to work with students with unidentified needs to access appropriate support.

 

Assistant Headteacher : Teaching and Learning

Sarah Cardy
Role:
to support our staff to ensure that their teaching enables our students to make excellent progress. This is delivered through good quality professional development and coaching across the school.

 

Assistant Headteacher: Vocational Learning and Careers

Fiona Jakes
Role:
to support our staff and students in accessing the most appropriate vocational courses which will lead to students’ accessing the appropriate next steps and to ensure that our careers provision starts in Year 7 with clear pathways to Year 13.

 

Assistant Headteacher: Behaviour and Attendance

Cat McMillan
Role:

Assistant Headteacher: Equity of Access

Beatrice Twumasi
Role:
to support our students and families to ensure that any barriers either social or economic are overcome so that students can achieve personal and academic excellence. This is through brokering outside support as well as our own in school initiatives for example Breakfast Club.
