Year 11 Leavers Day – Wednesday 18th June

IMG 20250618 WA0011The Year 11 Leavers Assembly took place on Wednesday 18th June, marking a heartfelt and memorable conclusion to an important chapter in our students’ lives. Held in the main hall, the event celebrated the achievements, friendships, and unforgettable moments shared over the past five years.

Staff and students came together in a moving assembly that included touching speeches, a few light-hearted awards, and a specially created Year 11 Leavers Film featuring farewell messages from staff. Throughout the event, our students truly embodied the school’s core values: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Resilient. There was laughter, a few tears, and an overwhelming sense of pride as we wished our Year 11 students all the very best for the future.

One of the most special moments of the day was the Guard of Honour. The entire school community lined the route from the Main Hall to the Front Gate, applauding the Year 11 students as they made their final walk through the school. It was a powerful and emotional send-off, highlighting not only the sense of community but also how our leavers have grown into young people who consistently demonstrate responsibility, respect, and resilience.

These values have been at the heart of our students' journey through school, and we are confident they will carry them forward into the next exciting stage of their lives.

We now look forward to celebrating further with our Year 11s at the School Prom on Wednesday 9th July and welcoming them back once more on GCSE Results Day, Thursday 21st August.
