At Hylands, we love to celebrate the successes of our staff and students, and this week we are delighted to highlight an outstanding achievement.

Amy Plunkett has been awarded Qualified Teacher Status and recognised with not one, but two commendations at the Mid Essex ITT Awards Evening last week:

1. Excellence in Teaching and Learning

2. Excellence in Professionalism

These awards are a wonderful reflection of Amy’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to both her students and the wider school community. She consistently embodies our core values — Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Resilient — in everything she does.

We are extremely proud of her achievements, and it was lovely to see the fantastic support she received from her family on the night.
