GCSE Sports Studies

Welcome to Sport Studies

PEThe Sport Studies course is designed to bridge the gap between theory and the real-world sports industry. Whether you aspire to be an elite athlete, a coach, or a media professional, this qualification develops the essential knowledge and practical skills required for success in the Exercise, Physical Activity, Sport, and Health sector.

This is a hands-on course where you will apply your learning to practical, real-life situations. You will transition from being a student to a practitioner by exploring contemporary issues, developing performance and leadership, mastering leadership skills, analysing sport in the media and participating in adventurous activities.

Through this course, you will develop the "soft skills" that employers value most: communication, resilience, and adaptability. You will not just be studying sport; you will be experiencing the various roles that make the global sports industry function.
