Year 9 Pupils Embrace Outdoor Adventures at Skreens Park

Last week, our Year 9 students were given the exciting opportunity to take part in a range of outdoor adventurous activities atIMG 5328 Skreens Park. The day was packed with thrilling challenges, including abseiling, kayaking, and navigating the high ropes course.

The visit was more than just fun—it offered a valuable insight into the Outdoor Adventurous Activities (OAA) unit that pupils study in Year 10 as part of the Cambridge National course. Experiencing these activities firsthand allowed students to explore local facilities and gain a taste of what’s to come in their future studies.

Throughout the day, pupils demonstrated the school’s core values by being resilient in the face of physical challenges, respectful of instructors and each other, and responsible for their own safety and teamwork. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude made it a memorable and rewarding experience for all involved.
