Year 10 Sport Studies Pupils Show Resilience at Layer Marney

Last week, our Year 10 Cambridge National Sport Studies pupils took part in an exciting outdoor adventure at Layer Marney in Colchester. The trip allowed students to further develop their skills in rock climbing and kayaking, while also learning new ones in archery and paddle boarding.

Despite the chilly weather, the pupils showed great resilience—tackling challenging rock climbing and bouldering routes, getting back on their paddle boards after falling in, and staying determined even when arrows missed the target in archery. Their positive attitude and refusal to give up were commendable.
