Hockey Trip to Lee Valley – A Day of Sport, Study and Sunshine!
Our enthusiastic hockey players enjoyed an unforgettable trip to the Lee Valley Hockey Centre in London, where they were treated to a thrilling afternoon of international hockey under glorious blue skies.
A major highlight for our students came after the final whistle, as they had the chance to meet several women's international players. From selfies and autographs to inspiring conversations, the experience left a lasting impression.
Throughout the day, pupils demonstrated our Hylands Habits - Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Resilient
The trip also served an educational purpose, as students explored key themes linked to the Sport Studies curriculum, such as the regeneration of East London post-Olympics and the importance of etiquette in sport for both players and spectators.
It was a day filled with sunshine and inspiration, and our pupils were excellent ambassadors for our school.
